The First Week
Gentle reader,
It has been a challenging first week. It took me two days to get here, do to Deltas lack of getting from A to B on time. The arrival was sweet and beyond words. Many new names and faces, as well as reconnecting with past acquaintances. April 20th, was a great time. Then on the 21st a pestilence felled me and then Billy. Days lost. Billy is a force of nature that moves at the speed of thought. Many projects are being completed in preparation for the sail to French Polynesia. Spirit Guide is The Belle of The Ball in the 53' class in the Ko'Olina Marina. The engineering and appointments are first class. I have the forward compartment and it is very comfortable. We went golfing at the Turtle Bay Resort that features an Arnold Palmer and Fazio Course. Everyone wants to play the Palmer, but the the Fazio was the original course and I have been told hosts the most beautiful views of Turtle Bay. Golf was respectable and I was not embarrassed considering this was my second game of the year. There is a gathering of people every night on the dock and tonight is a party. Carol will be returning and I look forward to a good evening.
